We use NSF-certified water softener salt which contains up to 99.8% pure salt. Making it one of the purest pellets salts for water softener systems. This salt is virtually 100% water soluble compacted for maximum brine tank compatibility.
Comes in convenient 1 or 2-handle, 40 lb. bags for easy lifting and carrying.
Has a perforated tear line.
Made out of durable 50% recycled material, making it less prone to tears.
Regular:
Regular premium salt is ideal for preserving the longevity of your softener system. Aided by an additive, this salt is designed to resist mushing and bridging which typically occurs in other low-grade salt products.
Red Out/Iron Out:
Dura-Cube® Red Out salt is ideal for problems with iron and rust staining/discoloration. With its highly effective rust removing agent, Red Out keeps softener components clean while treating and preventing iron through the whole house.
Certified to NSF/ANSI 60 standard, 12.5% liquid chlorine is intended for drinking water systems. Whether it’s for chemical injections systems or periodic whole house shocking, this chlorine solution serves as a powerful disinfectant.
Certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 60 standards, Imerys’s calcite is a white marble media used to neutralize acidic or low pH waters to a neutral, less corrosive level in acid neutralizing systems. Upon contact with Calcite, acidic waters slowly dissolve the calcium carbonate to raise the pH, protecting copper and other metals found in plumbing systems.
Corosex pH 5:
When acidic levels exceed below 5.0 on the pH scale, calcite is combined with Corosex (Magnesium Oxide) to increase the effectiveness of pH correction. Combining both media will utilize the high flow neutralization properties of Corosex, along with the slower reacting low flow properties of Calcite to bring the pH to a non-corrosive equilibrium.
Certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 standards, CENTAUR® carbon is used in carbon filter systems for its highly absorptive properties to treat hydrogen peroxide (egg/sewage) odors in water. Hydrogen sulfide water is absorbed by the catalytic carbon and then oxidized via air/oxygen, reactivating the carbon for continuous absorption.
Certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 60 standards, sodium hydroxide, or more commonly known as soda ash, is used for pH adjustment and corrosion control in water treatment. Soda ash is injected into the water system via a non-corrosive chemical feed pump. Light and dense soda ash grades are available.
Certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 60 standards, hydrogen peroxide is used for disinfection when injected into the water system via a non-corrosive chemical feed pump.
